Job Description: Cisco is seeking a Manager of Quality Test team to build, lead and motivate a high-performance engineering test team responsible for ensuring quality and bringing new software to market. Working collaboratively with sales, marketing and other cross-functional stakeholders, the manager defines and aligns team and business priorities.
Primary Responsibilities:
• Experienced in managing the entire lifecycle of enterprise class software development
• Experienced in building out and managing a high performance software test team, including: hiring, QA / testing facilities, release management, technical support, and project management
• Looking for candidates that have a passion for delivering high quality software and shows a complete sense of ownership for delivery of the product.
• Capable of jumping in and performing hands-on testing tasks as needed
Required Experience and Skills:
SQA Automation - Experience with deployment of test automation systems using automation tools like WinRunner, QTP, JUnit, JMeter, HttpUnit, HTMLUnit, EMMA, etc.
QA Methodologies - Excellent knowledge of Software development and testing life cycle, SQA methodologies and test process automation.
• 5+ Years experience with the management of software Test Team and implementation of enterprise products
• Experience managing dependencies between different products and coordinating across multiple cross-functional groups
• Experience testing and deploying OSS systems and integrating COTS applications, NMS/EMS for Video Management and third party Remedy application.
• Experience managing products based on Java and J2EE technologies
• Experience developing and deploying products that work in a hosted environment and good exposure to web technologies
• Experience with Unix/Linux
• General networking knowledge

Education:
Requires BSCS/EE or equivalent and 10+ years of software development experience with 4+ years in a first level management role.
