Job description
The Business Analytics & Optimization Distribution Sector (Life Sciences) Business Solution Professional (BSP) executes sales leadership and demonstrates proficiency in identifying BAO opportunities that lead with Global Business Services (GBS) offerings or solutions. Responsibilities include identifying and qualifying GBS BAO opportunities: independently, working within the IBM internal sales channels, and with GBS Partners. The BAO BSP engages the appropriate GBS and IBM resources, leverages all IBM advantages and works with GBS to gain client commitment a close software and services sales.


The BAO BSP is capable of taking an opportunity from identification, though qualification and to closure. In addition, the BSP must be able to conduct a consultative sale of BAO / BI & Datawarehouse solutions and implementation services – including the ability to articulate and craft an implementation proposal.

Demonstrating expert sales, organizational, business and professional skills, the Life Sciences BAO BSP has primary responsibility for the success of bringing the appropriate solution to closure. Should have deep experience with Life Science clients, including demonstrable successful sales and delivery experience.

Required
High School Diploma/GED
At least 3 years experience in Life Science Industry Processes
At least 3 years experience in Public speaking and presenting to executives
At least 3 years experience in Buiness Case Development and consultative selling.
At least 3 years experience in building relationships with C-suite executives
At least 3 years experience in Selling or delivering key Information Management (BI) solutions (for example, Customer data integration, Enterprise performance management, Master data management and/or BI/Analytics
Readiness to travel Up to 4 days a week (home on weekends-based on project requirements)
English: Basic knowledge

Preferred
Bachelor's Degree
At least 5 years experience in Life Science Industry Processes
