Do you want to work on building Internet scale services that supports product platforms such as Xbox Live, Kinect, and Office? Join Interactive Entertainment Business (IEB)'s Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Information & Services (MSCIS) Digital Supply Chain (DSC) engineering team as a Sr. SDET to champion a newly formed SDET function and SDET engineering practices to enable high quality internet scale services and user experiences that will collectively constitute the future of entertainment to millions of devices worldwide connected to the cloud and becoming a catalyst to drive solutions that matter. You will be an integral member of a growing team that is accountable for building an Internet Scale Infrastructure in support of Microsoft establishing position as the global leader in Connected Entertainment.

Roles/Responsibilities: 
The primary job responsibilities of the Sr. Software Development Engineer, Test are in the context of defining and implementing world class test & QA engineering practices to support/enable the current & future state directions of the IEB Information Solutions Engineering team. This will include immersion into the latest Microsoft products and technologies and industry best practices. Our solutions span the Interactive entertainment business and digital supply chain process. Our engineering team delivers agility and scalability through Service Oriented Architecture and unified platforms, applications, services, and technology.

Responsibilities:
Bring innovative approaches to the project functional areas that continuously improve our ability to deliver faster, better, and cheaper solutions
Lead SDETs to write test specs, test cases, develop test automation to meet the quality gates and release requirements
Own the quality of DSC Engineering services
Involve in the solution planning and design phases to set the test strategy.
Drive the design and development of the automation framework. Leveraging and improving the quality of automated tests.
Improve our test methodologies, metrics, efficient quality process and test architecture
Manage creation of test specifications, test processes, test schedules, test automation, problem repro/investigation and root cause.
Work closely with the development, program managers and partners through the SDLC to deliver high quality, high performance solutions

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:  
6+ years experience in a SDET role on developing enterprise-level systems.
4+ years experience in C#, .net Framework, STS, WPF, WF, WCF, and ASP.NET (Web forms/MVC), LINQ, and SharePoint.
Demonstrable passion for agile & high quality cross-functional engineering practices/excellence
Demonstrable passion for continuous applied learning & development
Strong familiarity with service oriented engineering principles
Strong familiarity with the MSFT solution platforms and a demonstrable passion to stay on top of related continuously evolving developments

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: 
On-line Services Engineering Experience
Excellent understanding of Engineering Excellence processes and requirements
Expertise and knowledge in Agile engineering practices (Continuous Integration, TDD)
Exceptional interpersonal skills, including teamwork, facilitation, and negotiation
Experience with an established modeling toolset or framework
Knowledge with the Cloud Computing, Windows Azure and SQL Azure

Education Qualifications:
BA/BS degree in Computer Science, MIS or related field is or equivalent experience is required.
