Job Description
 
• Develop and secure approval for the Thin Client / PC Sharing  Go-to-Market (GTM) plans and budgets
• Direct cross-functional, cross-organizational teams and agencies in the development and execution of GTM plans and budgets
• Develop/own GTM scorecard/dashboard and associated metrics/goals/ benchmarks; track/report progress against them
• Develop closed-loop post-analysis for marketing programs and identify/execute indicated actions
• Develop HP value proposition(s), offering/ segment messaging, and manage/monitor their delivery
• Develop/define customer segmentation strategies and customer experience plans and execute/monitor them
• Perform marketing support activities as needed, e.g., Siebel Marketing Resource Management (MRM)/Customer Relationship Management (CRM), PO/accrual management, collateral fulfillment

Qualifications

Education and Experience Required:
• Relevant Thin Client and/or PC-Sharing Marketing or Sales experience Must
• Business Analyst (BA) or Bachelor of Science (BS) in Marketing or related field; Master of Business Administration (MBA) preferred
• 10+ years marketing or business development experience preferred
• Thin Client and/or PC-Sharing agency, sales, ISV and/or channel experience
• Client Virtualization solution sales or marketing experience

Knowledge and Skills Required:
• Acknowledged mastery of Thin Client and/or PC-Sharing marketing principles, practices, tactics and tools
• Highly knowledgeable on all aspects of the Thin Client and/or PC-Sharing offering, segment, partner and account-based marketing
• In-depth understanding of the Thin Client and/or PC-Sharing industry, offering categories and HP offerings/ strategy
• Ability to manage advertising/direct marketing/ research vendors
• Strong project and budget management skills
• Excellent written/oral communications
• Strong analytical skills
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Ability to build, manage and influence virtual teams
• Exceptional negotiating skills
• Ability to interface effectively with all levels of management and functional disciplines, both within and outside HP
• Strong influencing and consensus-building skills
• Conflict-resolution skills
