Job Description: The Emerging Technology Group (ETG) focuses on creating solutions in new and adjacent technology markets built around advanced video, Intelligent Buildings, and Energy management. Creating new business units for Cisco through the innovative ETG incubation process, ETG brings new product ideas from whiteboard to successful businesses. 


Job Description:

Reporting to the Vice President of Worldwide Sales for ETG, this Director will be responsible for executing against the go-to-market and incubation strategy for our Cisco Connected 
Physical Security Solutions technology. By working closely with Cisco’s theatre sales teams, he/she will drive revenue growth through global direct & channel sales pipeline development.

Functional Requirements & Skills:

 Develop and implement global Go-to-Market strategies for direct & channels sales for the Cisco Connected Physical Security Solutions Unit within ETG, in conjunction with a cross functional tiger team. 
 Work collaboratively with global theatre sales teams to execute against go-to-market strategies.
 Analyze global industry dynamics and market transitions and identify implications and opportunities for Cisco Connected Physical Security Solutions. 
 Enhance customer intimacy and provide thought leadership through strategic dialogue with key customers.
 Influence peer groups at Cisco through visionary technology thought leadership.
 Successfully partner with Business Unit General Manager and establish interlock on business and GTM plan.


Experience: 

 Excellent track record of meeting and exceeding aggressive sales goals consistently.
 Proven ability to develop and implement direct & channel sales strategies on a global basis at Cisco.
 Excellent track record for achieving results in both startup and large corporate environments.
 Demonstrated ability to absorb new technology, markets and customer segments and implement sales and channel to enable success.
 Industry expertise to include deep understanding of the communications and networking industry including insight into emerging technologies.
 Demonstrated ability to influence at senior executive level.
 Demonstrated ability to present clear and succinct business cases and recommendations to all key stakeholders across multiple sales theatres.
 Demonstrated ability to deliver presentations in public and internal settings.
 Ability to manage a global team and several initiatives simultaneously.
 Excellent analytical and project management skills.
