Gigablast is looking for the best of the best to join our team to provide technical expertise for a wide range of internal applications. You will be responsible for developing new software, troubleshooting technical problems, and resolving data/configuration issues. This will require abilities in information retrieval programming through both known and innovative methods. You should be able to multi-task, handle real time problems and prioritize effectively. Exceptional problem solving skills, ambition, and a strong work ethic are key to your success. Beyond programming, you must be able to handle the setup and maintenance of the hardware and networking issues. Requirements:

Strong foundation developing high-performance algorithms in C/C++.
Some background in Assembly.
In-depth knowledge of Linux, networking, and information retrieval techniques.
Proven technical troubleshooting experience.
Ability to handle periodic on-call duty as well as out-of-band requests.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
BS or MS in Computer Science or equivalent.
Degree in Mathematics a plus.
Several years of software development experience.
Desire to solve complex problems.
Hardware maintenance/IT skills
