What are my responsibilities?
The „Material Management Center” fulfills a central function within the whole business process chain for all locations of Siemens Metals Technologies.
The MMC is in charge of providing standardized and homogenous regulations and rules regarding the opening, maintenance and release of material master records in close cooperation with Engineering, Order Management, Procurement, Logistics, Manufacturing as well as Service.
Development of a „Material Management Center“ (MMC) at the MT Headquarter Siemens VAI in Linz
Professional administration of MMC MT worldwide
Governance of all material related processes across MT segments and locations
Selection and release of catalogs / products
Development of general regulations for MT-wide standardized processes
Organization and coordination of application-seminars for key-users
Which qualifications do I need?
Technical college (HTL, FH) or technical university degree
at least 3 years of relevant work experience
Firm experience in project management , engineering and material management
SAP-skills with focus on Material Management (MM, PS)
Experience in the field of production planning and production control systems
Excellent skills in the English language
Team-player in a global enviroment
Knowledge of mechanical design, Designtools, etc
Experience in leading a team
What else do I have to know?
The cross annual compensation in accordance with the collective bargaining agreement for this function is at least EUR 42.000. Education and experience can lead to overpay. In addition Siemens provides social and other benefits.
