Job Title: Network Engineering Sr Advisor

We are a fast growing, international, dynamic, high energy, and private technology company looking for a Sr. Network Engineer with proven technical skills. This outstanding candidate will be responsible for all aspects of firewalling, routing, WAN/LAN architecture, network services, and general network perimeter security for all Dell SecureWorks corporate facilities worldwide and major Data Center operations. Incumbent will be responsible for solving real world routing and firewalling challenges in a secure manner and must be comfortable interfacing with internal clients and collaborating with diverse departments with differing needs.

Qualifications
Preferred Technical Experience:
· 3 to 5 years direct experience required in the management and administration of network infrastructure - routers, switches, load balancers, SSL, etc. - in a high-availability infrastructure on a 24x7x365 basis
· 3+ years experience with network protocols for routing and access, including but not limited to: BGP, OSPF
· Must have strong VoIP and IP Telephony experience, including Call Manager 4.0, is a major plus.
· Minimum Technical Certification: CCNP certification with 3+ years of solid Cisco VOIP implementation experience.
· Intermediate configuration knowledge of Nexus 7K and 5K series, Cat 6500, 4500 and ASA Cisco equipment
· Strong knowledge working with Quality of Service, TCP/IP, OSI Stack, IPSec, Multicast and load balancing techniques are essential.
· Ability to design enterprise network routing architectures using protocols such as OSPF, BGP, EIGRP, RIP and static routes.
Knowledge of EMC SAN and fiber channel storage technologies
· Participate within network team as tier one support of security, routing, issues participating in a rotating on call.
· Adhere to company security standards and policies.
· Responsible for configuring and maintaining a pro active Network Monitoring System leveraging existing tools in order to maintain and track Network metrics.
· Performs ongoing network fine tuning, upgrades and enhances to optimize Network performance, availability, stability and security.

Qualifications:
· Proficient in Cisco Switch, Router, VPN, and ASA technology
· Knowledge of telecom and ISP signaling and routing standards, including MPLS, T1, T3, and Metro Ethernet technologies.
· Superior problem-solving and analytical skills
· Ability to work under varying degrees of pressure and uncertainty
· Ability to demonstrate flexibility by embracing change; adapting communication style to setting; investigating and implementing alternate approaches to resolve difficult problems
· Ability to work flexible hours and support night or weekend work as needed
· Experience generating documentation for peers and NOC staff
Experience with WAP, and Network Access Control, is highly desired
