Job Description

The .NET Application Developer will design, develop and support applications vital to the day-to-day operation of Accenture's webcast/video broadcast center and the global telepresence/video conference environment. These applications will typically involve integration of multiple system components though SNMP, Telnet/SSH, XML, WSDL, RS-232, and other interface methods. These applications will involve a combination of workstation-based clients, web-based control, and Windows 2008 server components.

Key Responsibilities: 

• Demonstrates ability to use object oriented designs and use-case analysis.
• Designs and develops windows/web based application/services using VB.NET, ASP.NET, C#.NET, XML, AJAX and other development tools.
• Prepares functional specification documents
• Performs analysis, design, testing and implementation of applications while adhering to Accenture development standards and the guidelines of good computing practices
• Uses and creates MS SQL queries to facilitate data interfacing and availability.
• Generates reports as needed for management.
• Evaluates and recommends third party products
• Develops and assists in troubleshooting issues with video delivery applications using Adobe Flash
• Create and maintain current system environment documentation.
