Dimension Data's Security team is looking for an experienced sales professional with a strong knowledge of network and information security that excels in a consultative selling sales environment while working to build new business with enterprise clients in key territories. The Security Sales Consultant will serve as the primary sales representative dealing directly with potential new clients (hunting); developing and closing new sales opportunities to meet and exceed revenue targets. What we will expect you to do: • Engages the client at multiple levels (business, technical, financial and executive) to gain an understanding of the business issues and objectives driving the client's needs and close business. • Develop strong relationships with the clients to drive the penetration of the network security solutions broader and deeper into the account base. • Identifies the need for, and engages the appropriate vendor or partner personnel with the proper skill set to assist the solution and technology definition as required by the customer's opportunity. • Conduct strategic planning activities across existing & prospective client base to identify and position opportunities based on Dimension Data's solutions; ensure the go-to-market plan is aligned to sales and services plans • Maintain strong technical awareness of products, professional and managed services and general knowledge of other service offerings within Dimension Data. • Maximize key partner programs But most importantly, we need you to work passionately to make sure that Dimension Data remains profitable and develop your expertise in a particular area, in order to drive sales and deliver client value.
