EMEA Merchandising Consultant – Consumer, Small & Medium Business (CSMB)

Dublin, L, Ireland




PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Own the Go to Market process for Dell’s globally strategic build- to-stock program for Laptops and Desktops across the EMEA (Europe, Middle East and Africa) region.
- Work with cross functional stakeholders to ensure the program is positioned to deliver a positive customer experience
- Analyse market and internal data to predict future trends and maximize opportunities through effective planning and execution.
- Manage and develop Key performance indicators to drive program profitability and efficiency.
- Drive merchandising consistency and innovation to execute against the CSMB value and customer propositions.
- Engage directly with the Dell Leadership Team to drive growth and align future strategies
- Interact with regional teams on a daily level to ensure close cooperation and achievement of KPI’s
- Develop a deep understanding of customer pain points and needs in those segments
- Understand clearly what drives CSMB customers by talking to them regularly. Incorporate the voice of the customer into every promotional strategy.
- Create and drive the implementation of a system which systematically reviews promotional effectiveness and learns from past successes and failures.
- Drive best practices at an EMEA regional level.
- Develop and implement plans based on elasticity model which will be owned by you.

Qualifications
WHAT WE EXPECT FROM YOU
- You have a minimum of 6 years relevant experience in sales, marketing or another relevant function.
- You have strong business acumen.
- You have exemplary excel and analytical skills and a proven track record of innovative thinking and problem solving
- You have a relevant education background within business and/or marketing.
- You have documented business experience with strong skills in planning, project management and leading bigger project teams
- You have strong skills in both financial and market analysis
- You have experience in coaching teams and can motivate others.
- You have strong communication skills and the ability to lead a conversation.
- You are a team player across teams and countries
- You are responsible, have initiative and enjoy a hectic environment
