JOB SUMMARY

The position is for a development engineer, who would be involved in development and integration of third party OSS/BSS applications such as IBM/ Netcool, IBM/Proviso, LHS/BSCS, Axiom /Axioss and Axiom IP-VPN, Cramer etc. and Alcatel-Lucent developed applications, according to customer requirements.

QUALIFICATIONS• University diploma (preferably Computer Systems Engineering or Informatics)
• Knowledge of Object Oriented Programming concepts
• 2 years working experience with Java, J2EE
• Working experience with SQL (Oracle preferable)
• Working experience with:
o Application Server Tomcat 4.1, Tomcat 5.5 (JBoss is a plus)
o Web Application Frameworks Struts and Spring
o Persistance frameworks iBatis
o Technologies : Ant, Axis, Web Services, XML
• Advanced English knowledge (written and spoken),french is a plus
• Team work,initiative and pro-active attitude

DUTIES AND RESPONSABILITIES

• Analyze specification documents and customer requirements
• Interact with customers for technical clarifications
• Implement new modules as part of a global solution
• Maintain already existing modules (bug fixes, adding new functionalities)
• Implement unitary tests for the functional code he developed
• Create/update specification documents
• Synchronize frequently with other teams located in other countries
• Adaptable to project based environment
