Our client is a Paris-based international press group. 
Job description
The mission of the Production editor is to manage the publication of one monthly magazine (print) and its related website. He/she is responsible for the content and production of each issue of each of the publications.

The Production Editor follows through production each issue of his or her assigned publications.
The editor reports to and works closely with his or her Publisher and Editor in Chief.
This position in based in Paris.

Job Responsibilities
Under the supervision of the publisher and the editor in chief, you:
■guarantee the timely production of the magazine and its content
■oversee the production process, from copy commissioning to closure and dispatch to the printer
■define editorial contents in collaboration with Publisher and Editor in Chief
■control and organise the production, in association with the graphic designer and photo editor
■are responsible for quality control
■ensure that deadlines are respected and that the flat plan is adhered to, ensuring that the advertising requirements are met
■mediate in the case of any incompatibility between advertising and editorial
■liaise with the printers (manage execution, costs and invoicing).

■the ability participate in company-wide initiatives and to promote the company’s objectives
■6 years minimum experience in a similar position
■Diploma in publishing or production.
■Superior writing and editing skills
■Web skills preferred
■Proven business acumen
