Overall objective/accountability 
Implement DMAIC, Design for Six Sigma (DFSS) and Lean Concepts in line with Nestlé standards to improve the speed to market of Key Development Initiatives. This will require the individual to challenge conventional wisdom and to provide guidance and knowledge in order to lead the change of behaviours and practices. This individual will also be responsible for mentoring, coaching , and training Green Belts.

Main tasks/responsibilities
Lead very high impact, high complexity Master Black Belt level projects with quantifiable process improvements that deliver a positive financial impact
Drive improvements through the implementation of DMAIC, DFSS, and other Lean concepts
Integrate the DMAIC process into overall problem resolution processes
Identify Lean opportunities and subsequent projects through the application of Value Stream Mapping and other tools
Participate in the selection and evaluation of Six Sigma Green Belt candidates
Train, coach and mentor Green Belt candidates
Train additional staff on Lean Methodologies 
Work with product and process developers to ensure focused, value added experiments leveraging Design of Experiments 
Develop a culture of focused improvement through training and motivation of staff.
Network closely with project teams and other internal and external partners
Act as the liaison for improvement initiatives with the R&D community, sharing and leveraging best practices
Facilitate project kick-off meetings to ensure a Lean approach
Monitor all Lean/Six Sigma activities and report on them

Specific requirements
Experience in R+D within the fast-paced food, household goods , or pharmaceutical industry
Strong Project management skills
Leadership skills, with the demonstrated ability to lead people
Ability to work with minimal day-to-day direction
High proficiency in use of statistical analysis methods and tools
Able to summarize and present findings/results effectively to all levels of the organization
Strong proficiency in networking and collaboration with others
Demonstrated competence in experimental design
Ability to travel / relocate

Additional ideal requirements
Demonstrated process modeling and process simulation competence
Demonstrated competence in Lean process and product development

Education and Experience
Certified Lean/Six Sigma Black Belt with a minimum of 10 completed Black Belt Level projects
Minimum Bachelors degree in a technical field
