The Application Specialist has the overall responsibility for the quality of work completed within the assigned Application Portfolio. This position provides production support for the JDE Human Resources (HR) and Asset Management (AM) applications.

Job Description
JD Edwards professionals design, implement and deploy solutions using JD Edwards products to achieve defined business goals. They maintain skills in JD Edwards applications process design and configuration; JD Edwards application design, development, integration, testing and deployment; and JD Edwards application technical architecture.

A Functional Analyst understand the function of JDE application and where it is applied in the business. He/She serves as the key conduit of the functional/business and the technical knowledge into the JDE development, CNC and interfaced external system teams.

Key responsibilities may include:
Perform impact analysis on incoming service/support requests, specific to complexity & estimate drivers
Create functional / operational design specifications for support work and support the business analysts in their project work 
Create detailed test plans and execute functional tests
Provide production support for JDE super users and end users. 
Activities include problem analysis, break / fix, testing, and promotion to the prototype environment.
