This position can be located anywhere within the United States. This Mentor Embedded a division of Mentor Graphics has a full-time opportunity for an energetic, experienced and ambitious tools engineer.

Our RTOS and multi-OS based products are requiring tightly integrated and highly specialized tools for configuring, debugging, profiling single RTOS and multi-OS applications.

If you consider yourself an expert in architecting and implementing Eclipse based plug-ins with a focus on supporting runtime aspects we would like to hear from you.
You will be responsible for the development of highly specialized tool plug-ins for our Nucleus and Multi-OS products. In this role you will architect and lead the implementation of those plug-ins and work closely with the runtime and tools teams on those complete solutions.

Qualification

•Expert in Eclipse plug-in development 
• Expert in Linux and Windows development environments. 
• Solid experience with cross-development environments for embedded system design.
• Strong abilities in user interaction and user interface design 
• Strong knowledge of C/C++ and/or Java programming, along with various compilers, libraries, packaging, installation and licensing tools. 
• Ability to work as part of a distributed team across multiple time zones.
• Ability to work independently and drive issues to closure.
• Excellent written and verbal skills
• BS in CS, EE, Math, or equivalent.
