Job description

This role will report to Mine Engineering Manager and will be accountable for water management system for the Joslyn North Mine project.

Main Responsabilities :

• Interface between Canadian office and Head Quarters in Paris
• Support the Reclamation Lead on Clousre Plan decision
• Provide guidance and recommendations regarding water management and closure plan implications of mine plan options being considered by Company
• Manage engineering consultant on future design(s) for a new off-stream storage pond located within the Project Development Area on the JNM Lease
• Design the muskeg drainage and overburden dewatering plan
• Design a closed-circuit drainage plan and create an initial water management plan
• § Establish water monitoring system
• Ensure that the design of a closure drainage plan will meet the requirements of the Project

Required skills

Education
Master degree in Geosciences

Experience
Previous international experience is an asset
Min 3 years of experiences in mine operations
Familiar with Gocad (geo-modeling), Usim PAC, MapInfo
Proficiency in the full range of Microsoft Office Professional products (Excel, Word, Powerpoint)

Skills
Ability is speak French is an asset
