Description:
We are looking for the following interns to work with the Worldwide Training, Learning, and Development team. Our team is responsible for the development and maintenance of McDonald's global restaurant operations management and mid-management curriculum. Our team consists of subject matter experts in restaurant operations, instructional design, globalization/translation, learning systems (e.g. Learning Content Management System) and class delivery/facilitation. The type of candidates that we are seeking are individuals who are self-starters, comfortable working in a fast-paced environment where multitasking is part of their norm; transition easily from a team player to working independently and have a strong desire to grow and learn from the experience.
Job Purpose:
State of Training 2011 Book / Pamphlet or Brochure Development
Job Responsibilities:
Research / benchmarking other companies
Understanding of our current Measurement Initiative within WWTL&D partnering with measurement and communication leads
Partnering with several Project Managers on accumulating, compiling and analyzing initiative information to be used in book / Pamphlet / Brochure
Potentially create or build charts and graphs based on data received
Determine and recommend potential communication mediums for the development of the State of Training 2011
Develop, create and build template
Potentially partner with Internal IT members if potential communication medium is the website (so some knowledge or websites is a +)
Experience:
Minimum requirements:
Studies in Communication/Information Design (writing samples required for application)
Knowledge:
Excellent proficiency in English (Oral and Written)
Demonstrated the ability to develop and create communication mediums (books, pamphlets, brochures)
Ability to work and communicate effectively with a variety of people
Evaluates information in order to recommend the best possible solutions
Skills:
High level oral and written communication
Ability to relate to varied audiences
Complex ideas communicated with clarity, precision and efficiency
Develop designs that are relevant to the end-users / audiences
