Qualifications

A minimum of five years experience in aircraft avionics design and/or related customer service role in aviation/aerospace engineering.
A strong technical background in PC networks, multiplexed or software controlled systems.
Ability to handle a number of tasks and customer inquiries at once.
Sound PC, verbal and written communications skills.
Education / Experience Requirements
A degree-level education or equivalent in Engineering.
Other Requirements

Responsible for own Health & Safety, ensuring a safe working environment for self and colleagues in line with PAC's Health & Safety Policy.
Extensive travel up to 25%, both domestic and international.
A full clean driving license is essential.

Description

Under the direction from the Technical Director, the Customer Support Manager leads a team of Customer Support Engineers to ensure total customer satisfaction within the European region. Ensures the company meets its obligations and commitments to regional customers by responding to technical problems and queries in an accurate and timely manner. Ensures the Customer Support Team develops and maintains excellent working relationships with assigned customers and internal company departments in order to smoothly and effectively address customer needs.

Major Responsibilities
Lead the regional CSG team in the execution and delivery of support & services inside the European Region.
Manage, coordinate & lead the regional CSG resources in execution and delivery of regional customer support.
Responsible for dealing with difficult customer satisfaction issues.
Report issues / problems (of any sort) that can not be cleared locally, to the Engineering sites and / or regional/head offices as appropriate.
Manage the strategic relationship with assigned airline customers to ensure complete customer satisfaction and a long-term business relationship.
Administer day-to-day activities as required in the career development of team members.
Coach and mentor employees to promote individual growth and provide direction to employees in support of the corporate vision and values.
Carries out performance reviews and is responsible for ongoing development of assigned Customer Support Engineers.
Provide technical guidance and assistance to assigned customers.
Troubleshoot and work to resolve system problems occurring on aircraft (and / or workshop).
Work actively with the assigned customers to gather reliability data for all PAC equipment
Evaluate the needs of the customers at all times and work in a pro-active manner with all Panasonic departments.
Participate actively in any retrofits and / or the entry into service of new systems at assigned customers.
Work closely with all departments at the assigned customers to enhance their practices and knowledge of the operation of our systems.
Be an ambassador of Panasonic, using tact and diplomacy at all times.
Exhibit professionalism at all times in order to enhance the assigned customer's perception of PAC.
