Job Description:
Reporting to the General Manager, you have the overall responsibility for the Logistics & Facilities function for the region covered by Atlas Copco Equipment Egypt
Mission:
Your mission is to create stable logistic processes to support our local and regional customers.
In addition, you will be responsible to optimize:
- Customer and ASC Support functions
- Order Management from Order Receipt to Invoicing
- Inventory Management
- Integrated transport logistics
- Shipping processes
- Physical Warehouse processes
- Import and export administrative processes
- Oversee the logistics operations of Regional Operations.
- Regional Phyiscal Location for the Warehouse, with best overall Landed Cost and shipping time
- provide a professional facilities management and facilities maintenance service for Atlas Copco Equipment Egypt , covering All sites and Locations in the region , and ensuring the security of facilities and assets in the entire company and compliance with local authority regulations and Atlas Copco Standards. You will also be the project leader for new building and rebuilding projects.
In order to succeed in this mission it will be vital:
- To develop a Strong cooperation with ASC to optimize the logistic processes
- To develop and lead a self directed team of logistics professionals.
- To create a pleasant and inspiring working environment, to support maximum effectiveness of the team.
- To maximize service levels to our customers and minimize supply chain costs
- To meet the growing demands from our customers
Experience requirements:
- A thorough knowledge of all logistic processes involved ( operational, administrative and analytical).
- You have at least 5 years experience in different logistic domains of which at least a few years of operational management experience giving you proven coaching skills.
- You have a good working knowledge and experience in facility construction and maintenance in accordance with Atlas Copco standards.
Knowledge:
- Fluent in the English and Arabic Languages .
- Experience in particular with ERP tools preferrably SCALA, and IT tools in General, as well as in IBM Lotus Notes.
Educational requirements:
University Degree in Engineering or Business
