Job description
GMU ATS x86 RDM / TPC Specialist is required to lead RDM / TPC solution implementation at growth countries. Around 50% travel time will be required. Candidate need to demonstrate leadership and could effectively bridge IBM worldwide RDM / TPC resources and location teams to roll out new initiative, handle complex account situation and to winback against competition with passion.

Candidate should have in-depth technical skills and thorough understanding of IBM System x, BladeCenter, Networking (LAN, InfiniBand, SAN etc.), System Software (Linux, MS Windows, Virtualization software etc.) and , System Management Tools (SNMP, MIB, Tivoli etc.). Candidate should have good understanding of IBM System Director Remote Deployment Manager or IBM Tivoli Provisioning Manager solution and should demonstrate consultative skills to promote, design and implement software distribution or system deployment solution. Candidate should have good understanding of competitive advantage of IBM RDM / TPC over competitive offering. Candidate should have good understanding and hands-on skills of x86 platform, storage, virtualization and deployment solution. Candidate with application development background (such as SQL, C/C++, Java, .NET, PHP, shell script) is preferred. Candidate will be required to customerize x86 RDM / TPC software to fit customer environment.

Candidate will be responsible for pre-sales technical support, new solution promotion, sizing / architecture design, solution demo, proof of concept, benchmark tests and major account client satisfaction issue handling etc. In addition, GMU ATS is also responsible for advanced technical skills deployment at GMU countries, including local ATS, FTSS, SA, BP etc. Good team work among peers, location teams, sales teams and management team is important.

Have 5+ years working experience on Power System and AIX
With 1+ years working experience in Global or Cross-country role
Development laboratory or application developer experience is preferred
In-depth or hands-on experience in the following area:
- IBM / HP / Dell / Dawning / Huawei x86 and Storage Server
- MS Windows and Various Distribution of Linux
- System Management Tools (SNMP, MIB, Tivoli etc.),
- Virtualization Solution (VMWare, KVM, Xen, HyperV etc.)
- Software Distribution / Deployment Solution (IBM System Director Remote Deployment Manager or IBM Tivoli Provisioning Manager etc.)
- Application Development Tools (SQL, C/C++, Java, .NET, PHP, shell script)
- Competitive Analysis skills
Good command of Mandarin and English (both written and spoken)
Good communication skills and strong leadership
Good Consultative Skills
Ability to work independent and as a part of team
