Job Description
The purpose of the Troubleshooter at Maintenance Control Centre (MCC) is to provide technical assistance to line maintenance at AUH and outstation in order to have the aircraft back in service at the right time. He coordinates all received information regarding technical problems in the daily operation and reviews technical history of aircraft. He monitors PFR’s via AIRMAN and AHM, PIREPS, MAREPS, in order to create and follow up with measures to be taken by the line maintenance organization for all Etihad aircraft at AUH and outstations whenever persist. He also creates the follow up work packages for repetitive defects in compliance with approved data.
Requirements
• Valid Aircraft Maintenance Engineer License (ICAO, EASA66), and/or an appropriate Engineering degree
• Minimum of 10 years airline industry experience in aircraft maintenance certification / maintenance management.
• Formal technical training in at least 2 Airframe / engines types of Etihad's fleet.
• High standard of English language
Responsibilities
Daily monitoring of aircraft condition in terms of discrepancies and deferrals related to aircraft and cabin system
Monitoring of repetitive discrepancies and deferrals
Active communication with MCC – Duty Manager in regards to aircraft condition and support during AOG situation at AUH and outstation
Ensures and follow up that the TSM and repair action is carried out by line maintenance at AUH and outstation accordingly
