Job Purpose
The purpose of Technical Assistant in Operation Maintenance Planning Control (OMPC) is to ensure that all routine and non- routine paperwork accomplished by line maintenance at AUH is checked for completion and then entered into EY Airworthiness IT system.
The Technical Assistant is responsible for aircraft maintenance paperwork auditing and entry into EY Airworthiness IT system, storing of the records and reconciliation of all paperwork as per OMPC procedures.
Responsibilities
You will be responsible to:
Ensure that all appropriate legislative and Company Procedures are adhered to in order to ensure that the Company remains compliant and the aircraft airworthy.
Ensure feedback reporting is forwarded to all relevant departments in a timely manner.
Ensure all documents are completed and checked for correct completion when returned.
Requirements
Qualification & Education:
A minimum of 2 years experience in an administration role, preferably within aviation or a Technically comparable field
Knowledge of Aviation regulations (e.g. JAA, EASA, FAA and/or UAE GCAA)
Good standard of Technical English with the ability to converse at all levels in written and oral format
Experience:
Excellent people skills
Ability to expedite tasks in a firm and diplomatic manner being able to exercise appropriate discretion/ manage commercially sensitive data
Methodical and analytical in approach with acute attention to detail.
Ability to prioritise workload and work under pressure.
Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office
High standard of computer literacy (Microsoft Office applications)
