Job Description

In this position, you will be joining the IAG/ECG (Embedded Communication Group) team in China as an SW Platform Solution Architect (PSA), will be responsible for supporting Intel Architecture (IA) based In-Vehicle-Infotainment system. You need to work closely with customers and Intel sales, marketing and related stakeholders to work out customer engagement solutions and IVI software strategies from technical perspective. You also need to take the responsibility to provide SW design support to IA based IVI projects.

 Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to: 
- Influence automotive Tier 1s and aftermarket OEM to adopt IA for In-Vehicle-Infotainment product applications
- Establish a technical advisor relationship with customers to educate them on the value proposition of IA architecture for IVI solutions, IA software design methodologies and development tools.
- Provide SW architecture and design support to IA based IVI projects
- Work with Intel Application Engineers to resolve SW technical questions and challenges during the design enabling and design-in phase of the product development
- Developing white papers, application notes and technical presentations associated with developing IVI products.
- Work closely with automotive technical team in Ireland, Germany and U.S and local IDH/OSVs for solution enabling and software design

Qualifications

You should possess a Bachelor of Science degree or a Master of Science degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering (or equivalent experience). Additional qualifications include:
-7+ years of experience in realization of automotive in vehicle infotainment system software architect.
- Broad experience in Intel Architecture embedded automotive solutions realization based on x86 / IA, fast boot concepts, boot loader implementation, initial program loader implementation and startup code.
- In-depth knowledge of software implementation / debugging and optimization strategies and software tool support
- Strong technical knowledge of Linux OS and development environment
- Strong verbal communication and/or technical writing skills in both Chinese and English
- Ability to work independently and in a globally team environment
