a) Oversees, plans, and manages the activities and personnel of the Performance and Reliability Department.
b) Develop strategy and action plans for long term solution (Master Plan). Provide an advisory role to the main plant issues with leading task on major plant problems, which may be turned at later stage as reliability and integrity issues.
c) Direct quality review on schemes and follow-up actions generated from various disciplines directed towards plant improvement (weighing maintenance versus equipment/system replacement strategy).
d) Keep abreast of changes in relevant standards and improvements in associated technology, equipment design and process and operational practices to support proactive resolution of problems under review by P&RD.
Experience :
15 years of engineering experience in the oil refining or petrochemical industry, including 8 years of supervisory experience, in Operations/Cost/Maintenance/ Engineering/Reliability/Integrity and quality management.
Minimum Requirements :
· BSc in Mechanical / Reliability Engineering or equivalent qualification.
· Good knowledge of spoken and written English.
· Computer literate.
Remuneration package :
· Salary is negotiable depending on qualification and experience.
· Leave cycle: 5/2 (i.e. 5 days ‘ON’ Das Island followed by 2 days ‘OFF’ in Abu Dhabi) with Annual leave of 42 days per year. Alternatively, 35 days ON and 28 days OFF.
· Messing and accommodation are provided free of charge while on the Island.
· Sports/recreational club facilities on the Island.
