Job Vacancy for Key Accounts Manager – Damco, Cairo, Egypt

Key Accounts Manager – Damco, Cairo, Egypt
Role reports to: Country manager Egypt (in 2011)
Job Summary: To grow and develop the DAMCO Key Accounts in Egypt. The role has a strong Commercial focus and is responsible for selling DAMCO and its services into the Country Key Accounts.
The position will be required to attend and assist in the preparation of Quarterly Reviews for our Key Accounts and network within the DAMCO organisation to promote account development within Egypt.
The ideal candidate should be a senior professional with a proven track record in successful solutions, covering Freight, Customs Management, Warehousing, Trucking & Clearance, International Consolidations, Vendor Management and developing flexible solutions that show innovation.
General Responsibilities: To develop, identify and deliver a profitable business base and business growth within Egypt’s Key Accounts. Undertaking sales calls and presentations from basic Logistic clerks to Board of Directors of Multinational organisations.
Develop and grow relationships within the DAMCO organisation and Operational support teams. Work in parallel with country management team to ensure that continued account development and relationships are maintained outside of personal visits in field. Develop and present a detailed KPI report and business review for each of the Key Accounts on a quarterly basis.
Specific Responsibilities:
Strategy
Deliver profitable new business wins within the Key Accounts group of customers, as well as maintaining the existing business base.
Create customer loyalty through unmatched customer service.
Show detailed grow of Key Account development in Egypt as well as develop business opportunities within the Multinational head offices.
Customer Focus
Ensure that the client KPI’s are achieved
Develop and maintain strong working relationships within the Key Accounts to drive business growth
Identify pain areas within the Key Accounts where DAMCO will be able to grow and develop a solution to show innovation and generate profitable business
Actively manage and new business operations implementations
Act as an escalation point for the client
Financial Control
Drive CM1 performance through well maintained financial propositions and P&L applications for new business targets
Develop P&L and cappex modules for Supply Chain Solutions to ensure that new business opportunities are supported within DAMCO financial policies
Maintain and develop capital assets required for Supply Chain Solutions in accordance with DAMCO policy
Develop and maintain P&L performance monitoring and new implementation financial performance.
Resource Planning
In coordination with the country manager, identify the long term staffing requirements and propose the necessary action for new business solutions and assets

Key Performance Indicators:
· Client profitability (CM1)
· Individual Client KPI’s are achieved as a minimum
· New Business revenue development.

· CM1 and CCM reviews to be completed to agreed deadlines

· Deliver Ad Hoc reports within agreed deadlines
