About the Nokia Global Graduate Program
Nokia views graduate hiring as a critical part of the company's business transformation and people strategy. The Nokia Global Graduate Program was designed with a recent graduate in mind.
Graduates hired into the Nokia Graduate program generally get to work in two different assignments over the duration of one year; each assignment is 6 months each. Upon assessment, top-performing Graduates will have an opportunity to rotate into a third, international assignment in the United States, Great Britain, Finland, Germany, China or India. After the final (2nd or 3rd) assignment, Graduates move into fixed roles within the company to continue building their career.

Forum Nokia is seeking a Social Media Manager who will actively implement innovative, effective and comprehensive social media programs that will reach, engage and expand Nokia's mobile developer base and encourage application development for our devices.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES AND KEY TASKS:
1) Identify, evaluate and apply new tools and trends that emerge in the social media marketplace
2) Participate actively in social media channels and engage directly with developer audience
3) Actively plan Forum Nokia social media strategies and produce communications specifically for owned and earned spaces.
4 ) Generate appropriate content for posting on owned spaces that can create buzz / digital publicity
5) Work closely with the rest of Forum Nokia marcomms team to manage the input process of content across all social media channels
6) Investigate and report on social media trends and understand how they apply to developer space
7) Set appropriate social media targets and objectives according to industry benchmarks
8) Track and analyze results and draw insights from these performance reports to optimize program

Ways of Working:
1) A self-starter capable of working independently with little supervision.
2 ) The ideal candidate voraciously consumes information and participates in the social media space
3 ) Ability to take a consultative approach with stakeholders and the ability to transform discussions into actionable requirements
4) Experience in the use of non-standard approaches to resolve problems and issues
6) Communicates effectively with a wide range of constituents. This would include interaction with own team members, key business owners, project stakeholders, senior steering group members and cross-organization teams from relevant horizontal and business groups.
7) Proactively works on improving current processes and seeks opportunities for innovation.
8) This role will work closely with various teams in Nokia including: global communications, Ovi marketing, Store, and region marketing managers.
Qualifications

EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:
1) Creative professional with corresponding practical experience and training/knowledge
2) 2+ years of hands-on, relevant experience after graduating (marketing, project management, PR, agency experience…etc)
3) Knowledgeable in the leading social media tools and service providers available today
4) Technical knowledge in many areas, broad grasp of internet technologies and digital marketing
5) Excellent skills in written and spoken English language
6) Strong analytical skills
7) An understanding or background with mobile apps production or familiarity with 3rd party developers is a PLUS.
