Job Purpose

Initiate and lead strategic initiatives which increase profit by driving business process improvement for Global Sales which will reduce cost of sale, increase revenues or improve transaction speed, ease and efficiency for Guests and internally. The role will include elements of financial and process modeling, opportunity evaluation and project management.

Responsibilities
You will be responsible to:


Identify and carry out economic and logistics analysis of commercial and profit improvement initiatives to ensure focus is maintained on opportunities which are economically desirable and logistically feasible.
Apply financial, statistical and logistics modeling techniques to analyse business opportunities for revenue growth and cost reduction opportunities and; to build this analysis into compelling business cases which will obtain the necessary commitment and support to convert ideas into implementation.
Develop, plan and deliver business process change and efficiency improvements across all Sales activities which will improve overall profitability, through reducing cost of sale, increasing revenues and minimize transaction and processing effort.

Identify and deliver new revenue opportunities in Direct Sales, from both traditional and new approaches / partners.
Manage existing and new third party partners to deliver reduced costs and increased revenue opportunities through negotiation and developing more profit effective approaches, processes and tools.
Design, develop and programme manage cross functional projects and business initiatives with internal business partners including Sales, IT, Marketing, Finance and HR in order to deliver new commercial approaches and processes which require input, action and support across the business.
Indirect revenue accountability of $50m; indirect cost of sale accountability of $50m.
Manage and maintain analysis, tracking and reporting processes to ensure timely delivery and to sustain the necessary ‘buy in’ and support from senior management and internal partners.

Requirements
Highly numerate, creative and analytical with a minimum of a Degree level Qualifications.

You are required to have the following:
Minimum 10 years experience in a commercial or business analysis function in an organization undergoing substantial re-engineering of its commercial models. Airline or travel industry experience would be an advantage.
Financial modeling, business case development, analysis and decision making, process mapping, programme management, re-engineering and business change processes.
Operating Environment:
The role will operate within a fast paced and pressured environment with tough deadlines. Out of hours working will be required along with regular travel across the network. Decisions will require support from a variety of internal stakeholders and delivery will involve successful negotiation with powerful external partners.
