Job Vacancy for Web Developer / Interaction Designer (Amersfoort, Holland)

Location

Amersfoort, Holland

Company profile

The agency is fairly small and works in a team with enthusiastic professionals. The office is spacious, and breathes creativity and openness. There is room for personal growth and because of the small scale of the agency, roles aren’t completely tight within the job profile. The agency offers web design, graphic design, web development, public design and they also
take care of the merchandise (production, orders, and distribution).

The Job

For one of my clients I am currently scouting for a technically driven web developer / interaction designer. The agency has interesting and challenging accounts. On the one hand ‘sexy and wild’ creative output for artists (from album design, to merchandise and promotions) and on the other hand they take care of more complex and in‐depth projects for governmental and local clients.

We ask

The basic requirements:
You have multiple years of relevante experience, will not need a work permit (EU/EER citizen), already live in the Netherlands and are fluent in English. Furthermore:

• A must: php, ajax, mysql, (x)html, css.
• An extra: flash, ruby and/or asp
• You’re a team player and an independent worker as well.
• You don’t need much guidance, you can find your own work and are pro-active.
• You live around Amersfoort, or near Utrecht (south/east). The agency is easily accessible with public transport and car.
The ideal candidate:
• You are very comfortable in the grey area between technique and design.
• You are a builder. But you also understand what works on web design.
• You can take a step back, look at the project and see what might need to change to improve even more.
• You’re no longer only a web developer, you enjoy taking that extra step, exceeding expectations.
• You have an eye for design and clean coding, and find challenge in taking technique to a higher level.
