Etihad Airways Careers: Job Vacancy for Accounts Manager North of England (based in Manchester)

Job Purpose
We are looking for candidates who can promote Etihad and achieve agreed sales targets from a portfolio of customers through the primary distribution channels available. The job holder would also have to negotiate & account manage commercial agreements with top national accounts.

Responsibilities
Additional key responsibilities include:

Negotiate and manage commercial agreements with TMC and key corporate accounts and developing long-term relationships
Achieve the set revenue, yield and volume targets by zone
Ensuring territory activity is within agreed cost of sale targets. Implementing a sales territory marketing plan to agreed activity
Ability to make critical decisions to secure incremental and profitable revenue without direct supervision.

Requirements
Successful candidate must be educated to degree level or equivalent. Five years airline or travel industry experience with a minimum of 3 years in a sales role and a strong contact list.

Training & knowledge:
Negotiation and Sales techniques
Account Development Planning
MIDT, BSP, Sales Force Automation systems
Reservations and Ticketing – Amadeus
