Job Purpose

You will be responsible for providing daily supervisory, efficient management, and creative problem solving, to plan, organize and manage warranty cost reduction for Etihad Airways via warranty claims resolution.

Responsibilities

In additons you will be responsible to:

•  Optimize revenue and cost savings from warranty claims raised against service provider to Etihad due to weak workmanship or improper quality stander.

•  Liaise with Etihad base maintenance, line maintenance and ADAT maintenance to collect technical performance data, make necessary analysis and calculations to reconcile and claim any applicable remedies as per GTA.
• Coordinate with engineering on major structure replacements and initiate claim as appropriate.
• Study and ensure current warranty terms and conditions compile and raise claims for known issues; also fallow up warranty cases received from difference departments and ensure resolution. 
• Negotiate with Etihad vendors in case of dispute regarding repair of components/ units under warranty. Provide technical substantiation in order to resolve the issues and obtain FOC Repairs

Requirements

You should have minimum of 10 years experience in Aviation field, including at least 6 years related to warranty and experience within the area of Aircraft maintenance hanger, planning, quality and material departments.

In addition, you are required to have the following:

• Excellent knowledge of warranty claims and settles disputes.
• Qualified to degree level or equivalent, with University degree (B.Sc.) in Mechanical/ Aeronautical Engineering
• Excellent knowledge extracting financial benefits from warranty contractual clauses.
• Capability to manage multiple vendors claims process.
• Excellent degree of human interaction and communication skills.
• Excellent standard of English language
