People within Application Outsourcing are responsible for the day-to-day provision of long-term outsourcing services to one or several clients. As part of our Application Outsourcing team, you could be helping to provide the programming, management and maintenance services needed to implement and support installations of both custom and packaged application software

Description:
The System Operations System Analyst is responsible for:
Assist in managing systems operations and job monitoring which includes monitoring and reporting system availability, outages, job ABENDS, batch processing, as well as reporting the statistics for daily processing.
Execute routine production processes to support client programs and initiatives.
Day-to-day coordination with TSYS Data Center and PTC Data Center staff (technical level) for technical support and services.
Assist in planning and review of all implementations , plans, hourly schedules and other implementation planning activities.
Support the Interface Operations team with interface reconciliation issues; includes but not limited to interface reject analysis and stuck and missing batches resolution.
Assist with analyzing and resolving production issues as needed.
Serves as an on-call production support resource (as needed) for system monitoring, issue escalation, and over-night/weekend system implementations. This will be done based on a rotating schedule for team members.
Basic Qualifications:
2 years experience with Microsoft Office applications.
6 months experience in technology
BA or BS degree or 4 additional years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree
Preferred Skills:
6 months experience in Mainframe, Cognos or Web environments
Knowledge of ISO 20K/ITIL or CMM processes
Understanding of software development and maintenance practices and methodologies
Problem solving and presentation skills
Professional Skills:
Proven ability to work independently and as a team member
Good communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills
Good organizational, multi-tasking, and time-management skills
