The Enterprise Data Architecture team in the MSIT Technology Office is accountable for articulating and driving consensus around enterprise data management strategy, and for helping deliver continuous business-visible improvements in the MSIT data ecosystem.
The team is looking for an Enterprise Data Architect who understands the complexities of the data universe in a complex global enterprise like Microsoft. We are especially interested in someone who can analyze business scenarios to identify information requirements and balance standardized corporate data solutions with the local data reporting and transactional needs. These solutions need to support all aspects of the Microsoft business model including corporate as well as regional perspectives for information requirements that span multiple cultures, diverse geographies, and emerging markets.
The successful candidate will be able to communicate using business terminology, and translate complex technical concepts into business terms to facilitate communication. Good listening and collaboration skills are essential. Also needed are exceptional analytical skills to be able to facilitate identification of practical, sustainable information architecture in a complex evolving environment. The person we are looking for thrives in an environment of ambitious enterprise-scale projects, collaborating across many teams and disciplines with highly skilled individuals.
