Siemens Healthcare is recruiting for a qualified Radiographer to join as an Applications Specialist, providing high quality user training to Siemens SP -Surgery customers within the UK.  This role is offered on a 12 month maternity cover basis.

What are my responsibilities?

• To provide application support for the full range of ARCADIS Image Intensifiers and Mobilett mobile X-ray machines provided to the UK.
• Supporting the Sales team throughout the UK by carrying out applications training, as well as pre and post sales demonstrations of Siemens Image Intensifiers and Mobile X-ray equipment.
• To provide application support for the full range of Image Intensifiers and Mobile X-ray to the UK Market.  To organise application presentations as required for clinical professionals at customer sites.
• To deliver technical and clinical presentations to other health care professionals at universities or other training sites.
• To keep up to date with the latest equipment, clinical trends and procedures.
• To collect and create images/information to send to new and existing customers as required.

What do I need to qualify for this job?

• Candidates should be qualified Radiographers with recent experience of working with Image Intensifiers and Mobile X-ray equipment, especially within a theatre environment.
• Ideal candidates will be Senior Radiographers currently working on a full time basis with Image Intensifiers and Mobile X-ray equipment.
• Ideally you will have experience of teaching in a clinical setting and the confidence to present to groups of people.
• Experience of using Siemens’ Image Intensifier and Mobile X-ray equipment is highly desirable, although product training will be provided to the successful candidate.
• Effective interpersonal and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work successfully independently and as part of a team.
• Effective planning and organisational skills.
