Job description


Take a lead role in the analysis of reporting requirements.
Assist the Service Support Reporting Management team in the diagnosis and resolution of problems encountered with the production of reports.
Liaise with the Service Support Reporting Production team to ensure new reporting solutions are appropriately automated.
Perform Daily, Weekly, Monthly and Adhoc text and intranet reports.
Document reporting requirements and procedures.
Ensure ASCA certification and documentation is maintained.
Ensure user user documentation is maintained.
Perform ASCA Champion duties.
Perform Security audits.
Perform Site audits for Personnel.
Ensure Service Support Reporting team procedures and standards are followed, including those required for ASCA compliance.
Provide skills transfer to, and develop the potential of, less experienced members of the Service Support Reporting team.
Ensure Service Support Reporting tools are maintained at appropriate levels.
Take a lead role in the investigation of questions and queries.
Perform the role of team Applications Change Controller.
Represent the Service Support Reporting team on the wider ITD teams.
Maintain/develop own skills to levels appropriate for role in the Service Support Reporting team.
Perform other appropriate tasks as directed by the Manager Service Support Reporting.

Skills Required
Very experienced understanding of Service Management Service Reporting within IBM, including; SO/Client requirements, support structure, transition and transformation.
Graduate from a reputable Institution. Preferred Degree/Diplomas would include Information Technology; Engineering, Science or Commerce.
Fluency in English is mandatory, both written and verbal.
Strong Communication skills, both written and verbal.
Strong numerical and analytical skills.
Ability to understand processes and to be process-driven.
Good working knowledge and experience of other word processing and spreadsheet packages and presentation software, e.g. powerpoint, excel
SAS Operational support and development (SAS Data Step, Macro).
TDS390 (an IBM DB2 Application using QMF, SQL & TDS Log Collector Language) or similar DB2 Application experience..
JCL/ESMRT/GDDM /Script etc.
Must show initiative in all activities.
Must be capable of taking a lead role when appropriate.
2 Years General IT experience.
Mainframe environment MVS/ZOS.
Infoman, Solve, eESM for problem and change processing.
