Job Purpose
You will be responsible for preparing all of the monthly financial statements of Etihad Airways and subsidiary. In addition, oversee all accounts ensuring compliance with appropriate regulatory requirements, maintain internal control safeguards and co-ordinate all audit activities.
Responsibilities
In addition to above, you will also be accountable for:
- Reporting of consolidated financial statements of Etihad Group companies
- liaising with Statutory Auditor, Internal Auditor, Government Auditors and Tax auditor of Etihad Airways and it’s Group companies
- Effective utilization of sub ordinates for review and analysis accounts and provide them guidelines for quality checking of all the schedules.
- Participating in preparation of the annual budget of subsidiary companies, reviews monthly expenditures and ensure that budgetary targets are met
- Identifying, review and analyze the finance policy, procedure and process and make proposal for changes as appropriate.
You should have minimum of 5 years of experience in managing monthly financial statements.
In addition, you are required to have the following:
- University degree in accounting and must be followed by membership in an internationally recognized professional accounting body like ACA, ACCA of UK or CA or equivalent
- Knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS)
- Knowledge of ERP accounting system like Oracle Financial, SAP
