Description
Broad function and scope of position
Individual provides expertise in toxicology and chemical risk assessments for all global KF businesses and help resolve current and emerging food safety issues. They will provide sound safety assessments of ingredients, products, packages, and technologies and offer impactful guidance to KF global businesses and senior management. Individual will also be responsible for the development and maintenance of KF internal policies and practices associated with chemical food safety matters. Individual will represent the company externally and drive efforts to defend food ingredients and technologies, and favorably influence food safety regulatory developments.
Qualifications
Experience:
Advance degree in Toxicology, Pharmacology or related discipline with 2 - 5 years industrial experience (food or pharmaceutical).
Working knowledge of chemical risk assessments and the safety evaluation of food related ingredients and potential contaminants.
Expert analysis of scientific information and the ability to communicate complex scientific issues to a wide variety of audiences.

Strong technical expertise in risk assessment methods.
